Kitchen Witchery

In all the years I have been a part of this religion, I have noticed over and over a reoccuring theme amongst us.

Pagans are smart. We dont aquire our knowledge through one book, we use many. Our thirst for knowledge never abates. It is almost a requirement, that we read.......and often.

Pagans are artists. We are very visual creatures. Lending that visual to canvas, wood, clothe, music.....well, just about everything you can think of.

Pagans are enviromentalists. We speak out against the destruction of what is sacred to us. Whether it be a forest, preservation of antiquities......right down to animals on the brink of extinction. The earth is our mother.....everyday is earth day, when you are pagan.

Pagans are gardeners and cooks. Which is why I love Kitchen Witchery. Hearth and Home are very important to me. Cooking and feeding others brings me personal joy. (There is a little magick in everything I cook!!) Gardening to me.....a labor of love. I have had a good day if there is earth under my nails and I smell of soil! lol Plant a pumpkin......you will never get more satisfaction from a single plant, than you can with a pumpkin. They grow like wildfire......their bounty, amazing!

I plan to pay alot of attention to this particular category......we are just starting. What you see now, is only a beginning. There will be so much more in the months to come! Enjoy, and cook something magickal!
