Ordering with Vermorlian Magick Shoppe

Have a problem with a link? - We have designed the website with you in mind. Categories and subfolders should be easy to find, easy to load into your cart. If you find something that needs fixing, please email us and we will get right on it.

Order by email- You also have the option of sending us an email with all your order information when paying by cash, money order and check. We will tally the shipping and send you back an email confirming your order awaiting payment. Please make sure you include your shipping address.

Orders by mail- Simply send a check or money order (checks subject to a 14 day hold, until cleared) with the items you are ordering, mailing address and phone number to....

Order by phone- Give us a call....tell us what you need.  (574) 643-2309 We will type up a confirmation of your order and email it to you. If you are not online....we would be happy to mail it to you via the post office. Follow by check and money order via the mail.

Backorders and out of stocks- We keep as much stock as possible on hand. At times, we may be out of something or it may be on backorder. It is our full intent to keep the webpage up to date.....identifying items that are on backorder or sold out, but we may occasionally miss some, I am sure. We will email you with the details, if there is any delay with your order. Giving you the option to cancel that item, or wait the extra few days to get it back in stock.

Custom made items- Keep in mind.....all handmade custom items can take 2-4 weeks for construction. We do not want to rush the artist.....we want the best made product for your money. There are no returns on custom made items. (Please see 'returns')

Indiana sales tax- Remember, Indiana residents are subject to a 7% state sales tax. We are licensed by the state of Indiana; therefore we must collect any taxes due. It’s the law. No exceptions. Thanks for understanding.

 

Payment options

Payment methods accepted- Vermorlian Magick Shoppe accepts money orders, checks (items held until cleared), PayPal and credit cards via PayPal. Cash sent through the mail is accepted, but not advised. The loss of that said cash is sheerly the loss of the sender. Vermorlian Magick Shoppe will not be responsible for such losses.

Returned checks - Dishonored checks will be subject to a 20.00 fee.

Check and cash orders- Merchandise ordered online that's being paid by cash, check or money order will only be held for two weeks. If payment doesn't arrive within two weeks, the merchandise is returned to inventory and available for sale again. Orders are shipped only after receipt of payment or checks have cleared
Suspicious orders- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If we suspect fraudulent use of a cc, orders are investigated and, when necessary, reported to the proper authorities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but our customer's security is of utmost importance.

 

Order processing
When will my order go out? - The speed in which your order will be processed depends on how busy things get at the store (feel free to give us a call) & your choice of payment. Order processing time and shipping time are two different things. Delivery time does not include the time it takes for us to process an order. For example - 'Next Day Air' does not mean your package will arrive the day after you place your order. Time is needed for us to first process your order and then get it to the carrier's office. Call or email us for estimated shipping times.
CC and PayPal payments- When paying by credit card or PayPal, most orders are processed within 1 - 5 business days. Unless, of course, you have ordered something that is either on back order, or is being custom made exclusively for you.
Cash and money orders- When paying by cash or money order, most orders are processed within 1 - 5 business days after your payment arrives at Vermorlian Magick Shoppe. Unless, of course, you have ordered something that is either on back order, or is being custom made exclusively for you.
Payments by check- When paying by check, orders are processed after your check clears at the bank: 10 - 14 business days AFTER your payment arrives at Vermorlian Magick Shoppe. Once again.....unless an item is on backorder, or is being custom made exclusively for you. Returned checks are subject to a 20.00 return fee.

International orders
PayPal only, USD currency- We can accept international orders with PayPal payment, USD currency only. Please email us prior to paying.....so we can tally up the shipping costs, prior to payment. We are not responsible for excise taxes and duty charges. They are the sole responsibility of the customer.
No international money orders or checks accepted- Acceptance of international money orders or checks are not allowed. The cost for us to convert into US currency is too high. We hope you understand.
We reserve the right to refuse the sale of merchandise to any international buyer.

Shipping
Handling fees- First of all, I think the concept of charging handling fees for putting something in a box is utterly ridiculous. It was our choice to open this shop.....our job to put things in a box. lol Vermorlian Magick Shoppe will NEVER charge for handling fees......it’s not even in our vocabulary. BUT, please be aware that there are a couple of our vendors, which will ship directly to you from their shop and DO charge a handling fee. We will note on the items that they incorporate this type of charge in their shipping......the choice to order, is up to you.
We recycle shipping containers!!!- We are huge on recycling and preserving nature’s abundance. It is most sacred to us, actually. We will be re-using any boxes or packaging supplies we have on hand. They are safe, sound containers that we save from our product being shipped to us. This means, your package may not always be pretty.....but the items within are what you ordered and expected.
It also lowers our overhead, to keep prices low to the customer......you!
We encourage everyone to reuse their shipping boxes and packaging supplies. It may be a small gesture, but a lot of small gestures add up!!! Recycle with us!
Shipping method and charges- We use USPS......and will try to ship at cost. (We do not have a postal machine in the shop....so we will estimate the shipping) It is a pet peeve of ours that shops overcharge on their shipping to make an extra buck. We do not deal with wholesalers who practice this type of.....well for lack of better words.......rip off! We refuse to practice that type of fraudulent activity. Eventually, we will have a shipping table set up.....but for now, I am weighing.....looking up the weight, and rounding up to the next dollar.....to cover any fluctuations in the weight info I have on hand. We also charge for tracking.....its relatively inexpensive, and worth the extra money. If we happen to seriously overcharge on shipping, the balance will be either refunded or store credit will be given. (Your choice)
Alternate shipping carrier- If you desire an alternate shipping method.....please email us and we will contact the said carrier to find out the actual cost of shipment.
Shipping insurance- Insurance is not included, but strongly advised. If you wish to insure your parcel, please note it with your order. Items leave the store in perfect condition. Vermorlian Magick Shoppe is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Return policy
We want you to be happy! - If something is wrong with your order, we really do want to know about it and we'll do all we can to correct it. So don't worry about feeling angry or a need to be harsh when contacting us (that's unhealthy and we don't want you to feel that way). We're happy and we're here to help, offering friendly service to ALL our customers! :) So, if for any reason, you're not satisfied with a portion of your purchase, please give us a call at (574) 643-2309.
How to make a return- Return shipping instructions will be given when you call Vermorlian Magick Shoppe.
1. Call Vermorlian Magick Shoppe within 7 days of receipt of parcel. (574) 643-2309.
2. A copy of invoice and a note describing return or exchange must be included with the return as was mentioned in phone call.
3. The customer is responsible for all return shipping fees which will include but may not be limited to postage, insurance, and proof of signature at destination.
4. Returned items must be received unused, undamaged, and in original saleable condition for a refund, store credit or exchange to be applied.
5.  If there's damage to parcel at time of delivery, the carrier must verify this in writing. The damaged carton and all packaging materials must be saved in order for an insurance claim to be filed with US Mail. This applies only when you have paid for insurance!

Shipping fees are non refundable- We will not refund any shipping costs to you. Shipping for the return will be at your expense. This is pretty standard amongst all shops.
Important notice regarding undeliverable, refused parcels, & unwanted merchandise- Shipping fees are not refundable for packages undeliverable by fault of the customer, parcels refused upon delivery, or merchandise returned unwanted. A 10% return-to-stock fee will be incurred. Shipping fees will apply on ALL orders that need to be reshipped.
Return policy on custom made items- We are sorry, but any custom made items are not available for return. They were made to your size and specifications. For example: The likelihood of us ever finding someone that wears the same size corset as you do, are slim and none.
We are a small little store......a few returns like this would shut us down, as we pay upfront for your custom purchase. Thank you for understanding.
However, if there is a serious flaw with construction.......please call us. (lol...."serious flaw" does not mean a thread is hanging, or the color clashes with your cherished pentacle.....hahaha. Please.....a real problem only, thanks!!)

Catalogs
In order to further conserve the resources of our mother, (cutting down of trees) we do not intend on ever offering a catalog. We are sorry for this inconvenience, but know it is an important gesture that more of us are opting for.
We read somewhere it takes 24 trees to make 40 cases of paper......very sad, that.
The next time you are clicking away on the internet, wishing you had a catalog instead......take a deep breath!!! Remember what creates that oxygen.....and smile!

Out of stock orders and backorders
Temporarily out of stock- If a temporarily out of stock item is expected to return to stock within 5 - 7 business days from when your order is placed, your order will be shipped complete as soon as that item arrives.
Back Orders- Any ordered item that's temporarily out of stock and not expected within 5 - 7 business days, will be considered a back order and you will receive a notice on your invoice. The rest of your order will be shipped within the normal shipping time as mentioned on the shipping & ordering pages. Your invoice will include the expected arrival date for the temporarily out of stock item and you will have the option of replacing or canceling the back ordered item from your order.
No longer available- If you order an item and it's no longer available, we will contact you to see if you would prefer an alternate item or a refund for the amount of the original item. Although the occurrence is rare for an item to be listed on the site that is no longer available, this would most likely occur on an item that is shown to be limited to one or two in quantity. If you like, you're welcome to give us a call (574) 643-2309 to be sure a particular item is available before ordering.

Mean and Nasty people...ugh!
Ahhhh......we dislike having to include this, but feel it is necessary.
Between us, we have decades of award winning customer service experience. We will try to meet and exceed your expectations at every turn. It was and is our goal to bring the best possible customer service to everyone who conducts business with Vermorlian Magick Shoppe. We want your experience to be pleasant.....and we want you to come back!
However, as we all have encountered, there are always some that no matter what you do......they love to stir up trouble.
We love what we do.....we want to keep doing it for years to come. So we have set the following guidelines for ourselves-
1. Screaming and profanity will get you transferred to our complaints department..........aka "the dial tone".
2. Persons who abuse #1 on more than one occasion will be permanently blocked from calling, and any orders placed by them will not be honored.
3. No tolerance will be offered for callers/emailers who wish to discuss the pagan religion, or any other religion for the matter, in a negative fashion. We believe that religion is a personal path....one that is chosen by the person making the choice. We have many friends from all religions......and slanderous remarks pertaining to any religion will NOT BE TOLERATED. You may joke, and we may joke back, but serious mean talk.....is just mean. .
4. Just to reiterate, we reserve the right, for any reason....on any occasion, to refuse service.
5. Any threatening phone calls will be reported to the authorities. With children in tow with us, much of the time......we take threats very seriously and parent protectiveness comes into play. For the record, we do have caller ID on our shop phone.
I am sure this pertains to none who are reading this......but for our own sanity and safety, we had to lay down these boundaries. Thank you very much for your understanding.
